Major Function

In this role, you will design, optimize, and implement end‑to‑end manufacturing and logistics systems and processes that enable reliable deliveries, cost efficiency, and best‑in‑class performance. Your work will power our operational strategy—covering process design, material flow, layout and data‑driven continuous improvement. The position is based in Nagykanizsa, reporting to Engineering Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Identify and eliminate waste in production and operational processes (e.g., overproduction, waiting times). Identify and eliminate waste in office processes as well.
  • Lean Implementation: Implement tools like Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kanban, SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die), and 5S to optimize workflows.
  • Data Analysis & KPI Management: Track and analyze manufacturing metrics (KPIs) to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Kaizen & Training: Lead workshops, Kaizen events, and train employees in lean methodologies to build a continuous improvement culture.
  • Layout and Workflow Design: Optimize factory layouts and assembly processes for better material flow and safety.
  • Internal logistic improvement: Analyze and improve material movement between warehouse production and shipping. Define way of working including physical movement and material booking/ordering processes.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Use problem-solving tools like QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) to address quality issues.

Requirements for the role:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt).
  • Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process optimization.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills to drive change across different organizational levels.
  • Software knowledge: MS Office, AutoCAD or any 2D/3D design tool
    SAP, PDM is a big advantage
  • Language: Communication level English and Hungarian.
