YOU
As a CI/Lean Coordinator, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Lean Core Team, operations and service processes to implement improvements in all value streams of the Branch.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Assist Lean Leader in implementing the lean management system at the Branch. Work with cross-functional teams to identify the improvement projects, and facilitates improvement and standardization throughout the plant by using various improvement tools i.e. Standard Work, Visual Management, Kanban, 6S, Process Audits, etc. (40%)
Assist in A3 tool development, training and upkeep for assigned Lean events. (20%)
Follow up on Lean event improvement actions and ensure proper closure and effectiveness. (20%)
Collaborate with teams and provide guidance on Lean projects to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, while also identifying alternatives and coaching others to develop solutions that are consistent with the branches values. (10%)
Benchmark internally and externally to identify and standardize best practices. (10%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- High School Diploma, GED or technical school Required.
- 2 years of experience in implementing Lean methodologies Preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in both a professional office environment, and on the production/warehouse floor. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
This position may require domestic travel up to 10% of the time.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, non-exempt, Union position is located in Stockton, CA.
RELOCATION
Relocation is not available for this position.
PAY
$23.23 / hour
