What’s on offer?

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Leading Hand to complement our existing team and support our expanding long-term program of works in the Victorian Utilities sector. You will be part of a dedicated team delivering a diverse portfolio of multidisciplined projects, including earthworks, treatment plants, large-scale pipelines, pump stations and concrete structures.

In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Assist Site Supervisor and take ownership of jobs from commencement to completion

  • Engage, coordinate & manage Fulton Hogan employees and sub-contractors on job sites

  • Communicate with site team to program and track the progress of jobs

  • Attend & contribute to meetings

  • Dispute / issue resolution, as required

  • Ensure all inspections & other relevant documentation is signed off

  • Ensure company HSE policies are followed at all times.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Building Trade / Construction Qualification or relevant industry experience

  • Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills

  • Ability to build effective relationships & be empathetic to the needs of the client

  • Positive attitude, sound work ethic & self-motivated

  • Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities

  • Valid Driver’s License, additional operator tickets will be highly regarded
