The Leadership Development Programs Leader has the opportunity to shape and continuously evolve leadership development experiences for Frontline Managers, Managing Managers, Specialist Leaders, Solutions Leaders, and Emerging Leaders across both the People Leadership and Expert Leadership pathways.

As a key architect within the Leadership Development Architecture (LDA), you will design and deliver scalable, globally relevant development solutions that help leaders successfully navigate critical career and leadership transitions. Partnering with business leaders, HR stakeholders, and leadership development experts, you will create engaging learning experiences that strengthen leadership capability, accelerate readiness, and increase individual and organizational impact. Your work will directly influence leader effectiveness, talent growth, leadership pipeline strength, employee engagement, and business performance across the enterprise.

Based in Indianapolis or Columbus, Indiana, this onsite-with-flexibility role is intentionally designed to enable meaningful face-to-face engagement, collaboration, and coaching with senior leaders and stakeholders across the enterprise. Relocation assistance is available.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Design and continuously improve leadership development experiences for Frontline Managers, Managing Managers, Specialist Leaders, Solutions Leaders, and Emerging Leaders across both leadership pathways. 
  • Create development journeys that strengthen people leadership, coaching, performance management, change leadership, inclusion, and business execution through others. 
  • Build leadership capabilities for employees who lead through expertise, influence, innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and solution ownership. 
  • Develop meaningful transition experiences that prepare employees for increased leadership scope, responsibility, and organizational impact. 
  • Integrate work-based experiences, coaching, mentoring, feedback, assessments, peer learning, simulations, formal learning, and performance support into scalable development solutions. 
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, functional leaders, coaches, facilitators, and vendors to identify capability needs and activate high-impact development experiences. 
  • Use data, participant feedback, and business outcomes to assess effectiveness, measure application, and continuously improve leadership experiences. 
  • Leverage innovative learning approaches and responsible AI-enabled solutions to increase accessibility, personalization, engagement, and development impact across global audiences.
Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Deep knowledge of leadership development, adult learning, instructional design, organizational development, and talent development practices. 
  • Experience developing both people leaders and leaders who create impact through expertise, influence, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Strong consulting and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence leaders and build effective partnerships across a matrixed organization. 
  • Systems-thinking capabilities that enable you to connect development experiences to broader leadership architecture, talent priorities, and business outcomes. 
  • Expertise in designing inclusive, globally scalable learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse audiences, work environments, and career pathways. 
  • Strong project, implementation, and vendor management skills with the ability to balance quality, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. 
  • Analytical and evidence-based decision-making capabilities with experience measuring leadership effectiveness, capability growth, and program impact. 
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to leverage emerging technologies, learning innovations, and responsible AI to enhance leadership development outcomes.

 

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Significant experience in leadership development, talent development, organizational development, learning, or workforce development within a complex global organization. 
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing leadership development programs for people leaders, specialist leaders, technical experts, solutions leaders, or emerging leaders. 
  • Experience translating leadership frameworks and capability models into scalable development pathways, learning experiences, and performance support solutions. 
  • Proven ability to partner across businesses, functions, HR teams, and stakeholder groups to drive adoption and measurable leadership outcomes. 
  • Experience leveraging data, participant insights, and business feedback to measure effectiveness, improve experiences, and inform portfolio decisions.
  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required

 

 

Work Arrangement: This role is based onsite with flexibility in Indianapolis or Columbus, Indiana, where regular in-person engagement with senior leaders and executive stakeholders is a key part of driving impact. Remote consideration may be available for an exceptional candidate; however, frequent travel to Indiana will be required. Travel between an employee's residence and their designated work location is considered a personal commuting expense and is not reimbursable.

 

 

Compensation
