The Leader Development Head leads the Capability Development Managers and Officers in designing and delivering impactful blended learning solutions that strengthen leadership capabilities across all levels of the organization. This role oversees the end-to-end learning lifecycle, ensuring leadership development programs are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable outcomes. The role also drives the successful implementation of the Leadership Development Roadmap, supporting leaders from pre-appointment through advanced leadership stages.
Position Responsibilities:
Program Design & Delivery:
Implement the Manulife Business Academy Vision and Strategy to be the best-in-class Agency Academy aligned with the Agency Regional Playbook.
Craft communication plans, tools and materials utilizing market intelligence and deep commercial awareness and knowledge on market best practices
Conceptualize, design and produce materials for leader development.
Implement and manage a range of learning programs and initiatives.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality training sessions, workshops, and development programs.
Conduct Trainors Training to scale-up implementation and delivery of programs.
Ensure end to end impact and execution by producing analytics and gathering feedback from Agency, Zone Heads, SMT and other enablement teams.
Leadership Development:
Drive leader development programs to nurture and strengthen leadership capabilities at all levels.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify leadership development needs and create targeted interventions.
Implement a diligent feedback mechanism to ensure quality delivery of programs and initiatives by working closely with the Zonal Capability Development Managers.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Implement metrics and evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of learning programs.
Use data-driven insights to continuously improve and refine learning initiatives.
Develop tracking mechanism to ensure business impact of Leader initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications in sales training or organizational development are a plus.
At least 10 years of Sales Management and Sales Training background
Proven experience in sales training and development, with a track record of driving measurable improvements in sales performance.
Strong understanding of sales processes, customer engagement strategies, and adult learning principles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training impact through data analysis.
Adaptability and a proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends and emerging best practices.
