The Insurance Leader of Agency Development & Success Manager is responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Agency Development Managers. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to achieve recruitment goals.
What You Will Do As A Leader of Agency Development & Success Manager
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Agency Development Managers to ensure alignment with the HOA/Porch’s growth and expansion goals.
Conduct regular call monitoring, shadowing, and feedback sessions to improve the team’s prospecting, sales techniques, and overall communication skills; provide personalized coaching to enhance individual and team performance.
Oversee the execution of strategic plans to recruit and onboard new agencies, ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience. Monitor onboarding process, ensuring new accounts receive the training, tools, and support needed for success.
Collaborate with the team to develop compelling value propositions and marketing strategies to identify and target high-potential prospects
Implement targeted strategies and support processes to ensure new agent productivity in a timely manner, while providing ongoing guidance to sustain their growth and success.
Establish clear sales goals, key performance indicators, and performance expectations for the team, ensuring accountability and continuous development.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and agent needs to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Track and report on the team’s performance, providing regular updates to distribution leadership on progress, challenges, and key insights for continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring As A Leader Agency Development & Success Manager
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of experience in insurance sales, distribution, or account management, including 5+ years of leadership responsibilities.
Strong understanding of the insurance industry, particularly in the acquisition of new agency partners and distribution channels.
Experience working with independent insurance agents, aggregators, and large agency networks
Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve sales and growth objectives.
Demonstrated success managing high-value accounts and building long-term, profitable relationships.
Strong knowledge of property and casualty (P&C) insurance products and distribution models.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies.
Proficiency in CRM tools
Familiarity with agency management systems and insurance technology platforms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans for new business development.
Ability to build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on results.
Analytical skills to interpret market trends, competitive intelligence, and performance metrics.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member
Pay Range*: $110,300 - $147,000 Annually
*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.
Additionally, you will be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
You will also be eligible to receive sales incentives, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
