Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree
· Master’s Degree (Not mandatory)
Experience
· Minimum 15+ years of experience in Offshore Oil and Gas Projects
· Minimum 10+ years of dedicated experience in Weight Control Reporting activities
· Experience in developing and maintaining Weight Control Reports throughout all Project Phases from Concept to EPC and for all applicable design phases (Loadout, Transportation, Lifting, Operating phases).
· Experience in Fixed Offshore Platform Jacket & Topsides weight reporting; Proven experience in managing weight budgets and weight growth control on major Offshore Projects
· Experience in Brownfield Projects
· Experience in Offshore Bridges, Flare structures, Modules
· Strong Inter discipline coordination, client interactions and interface management skills
Job Requirements
· Develop and implement Project Weight Control Procedure
· Develop Weight Breakdown Structure
· Establish Weight Contingency philosophy as per Project phase
· Develop and implement weight growth monitoring/tracking mechanisms
· Evaluate CoG for all items and define CoG envelopes for design sensitive structures
· Assess Lifting, Transportation and Installation CoG requirements
· Coordinate with all disciplines for weight and CoG data. Review/validate discipline weight inputs for accuracy
· Review various discipline deliverables (i.e., Structural MTO’s, Piping MTO’s, Vendor data, E&I layouts, HVAC layouts, Architectural drawings) and collect the weight data.
· Review Technical Queries (TQs), Site Queries (SQs), and Management of Change (MOC) requests for weight impact.
· Actively participate in Management of Change reviews and identity the weight impacts
· Assess various weight limiting scenarios and define NTE values
· Support weight optimization initiatives
· Prepare and issue, Weight Control Repots, Weight status Reports, Weight growth Registers, Weight Forecast reports
· Coordinate with Marine Warranty Surveyor on Weight related requirements
· Develop weight databases

· Familiarity with ADNOC, ARAMCO, and QP/QG Weight reporting practices

· Experience in multidisciplinary coordination involving Structural, Piping, Mechanical, E&I, HVAC, HSE, Architectural disciplines.

Skills Required
