Lead and oversee shift operations of the wastewater treatment system, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair low-voltage instrumentation, maintain treatment and maintenance logs, conduct basic lab analyses, and communicate status to management.

- Lead shift activities, operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
- Clear blockages, clean screens, and maintain proper flow through the system.
- Diagnose and fix low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, Ph. meters, Level transducers, etc.
- Repair equipment as necessary.
- Maintain maintenance logs.
- Maintain accurate wastewater treatment logs.
- Conduct basic lab analyses and perform simple calculations.
- Communicate issues and status updates to management.
- All other relevant duties as required.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must hold a waste water license or be able to get a waste water license within 12 month of employment.
- Wastewater treatment system operations experience.
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Skills Required
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check
- Hold wastewater license or obtain within 12 months
