We are looking for a passionate Lead UX Writer (f/m/d) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to professionalise and elevate our in-app UX writing.

This is a limited 6-month contract, and while the role offers flexibility to work remotely, we’d love to meet with you in person at our Vienna headquarters 2-3 times a month to collaborate and stay connected!

Some of the things you’ll work on:

  • You’ll help standardise in-app content by setting up guidelines that keep tone, style, and voice consistent, creating a smooth and enjoyable user experience.
  • Going through the current in-app text, you’ll spot opportunities for improvement, prioritising updates that align with our brand and make the content more accessible for everyone.
  • You'll play a key role by supporting the transition to centralised content tools like Phrase or Crowdin, making workflows easier and boosting efficiency across the platform.
  • Working hand-in-hand with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Technical Writers, you’ll craft and fine-tune content that brings new product features to life.
  • You’ll also mentor UX Designers, offering training and guidance to help professionalise UX writing tasks while keeping the tone of voice consistent with our brand.

We’re excited if you have:

  • A strong background in UX writing, especially when it comes to centralising and improving in-app content to enhance the user experience.
  • Experience with content management tools like Phrase, Crowdin, or similar, and the ability to manage content efficiently on a technical platform.
  • The skill to collaborate across teams—working with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to create content that supports product goals and improves user interaction.
  • Independence in your work, comfortable taking the lead with limited oversight, but always ready to check in for feedback and alignment when needed.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring your content is both user-friendly and technically as well as grammatically accurate, particularly for non-technical audiences. A high level of English proficiency is essential.
