  • Humility: We leverage our expertise while respecting other viewpoints and challenging our own assumptions.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our team in Dublin, Kraków, or Remote within our supported locations in EMEA.

In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design, refine, and deliver exceptional experiences for our industry-leading insurance pricing and rating software.

As an advocate for the user, you will focus on usability, interaction design, and product flows to ensure our solutions meet both user and business needs. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams you will help foster alignment and drive innovation in the insurance industry. You will conduct UX research to uncover user needs, including usability tests, interviews, and other methods. You will also leverage metrics and data to validate design decisions.
This position offers the opportunity to work on products that are at the forefront of the insurance industry, touching the lives of users globally.

Your day-to-day:

  • Collaborate with Product Teams: Work closely with product managers and engineers to design best-in-class experiences for complex B2B workflows for analytics, data exploration, scenario testing, model deployment, and system integration.

  • Design for Complexity: Create interaction flows and experience designs from low to high fidelity for various technical personas (such as actuaries, data scientists, pricing analysts, and engineers).

  • Establish a Vision: Use UX and Design Thinking methodologies to create a new and improved vision for big data products and complex business processes, and depict them in ways that various stakeholders can understand and support.

  • Collect Insights from Data: Gather information to identify trends, problems, and opportunities, and design solutions using both structured and unstructured data.

  • Storytell Data-Informed Design: Build stories from data to explain complex ideas and analytics, making it easier for people to understand and take action.

  • Leverage a Design System: Use and help evolve our design system, including translating our existing system onto new products.

  • Communicate with Clarity: Present concepts and UX perspectives to key stakeholders in interesting and relevant ways that impact decision-making, using strong English communication skills.

  • Conduct User Research: Facilitate interviews, validate and iterate concepts with customers and subject matter experts, and analyze feedback to gather insights that improve our product user experience and impact the roadmap.

What you need to be successful:

  • At least five years of relevant UX design and user research experience with complex B2B or enterprise platform products.

  • Demonstrated experience designing for pricing and risk management (Financial Services or Insurance), big data and analytics, or engineering platform tools.

  • A consistent track record of working cross-functionally to define problems, recommend solutions, and plan a design approach.

  • Ability to understand and balance both business and user experience needs.

  • A proactive approach for collaboration and communication across teams.

  • A variety of design methods and artifacts, such as interaction flows, information architecture, system diagrams, mental models, wireframes, prototypes, etc.

  • Proven experience in planning, executing, and synthesizing research (both qualitative and quantitative).

  • Confidence in design storytelling with a variety of audiences.

  • Expertise in facilitating design thinking workshops.

  • Proficiency with Figma, including experience working with design systems.

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with GenAI design and research tools (such as Figma Make, Notebook LM, Dovetail) and prompting best practices.

  • A solid understanding of machine learning, front-end development, and engineering topics is preferred.

  • A design portfolio that demonstrates a human-centered design process and business success in an enterprise organization.
