The Role

The UX Design Manager will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of

Saviynt’s SaaS platform, ensuring it is both intuitive and user-centric. This role requires

a strategic thinker who can balance hands-on design work with team leadership,

fostering a culture of design excellence and innovation. In addition to driving UX/UI best

practices, this individual will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of UX

designers, ensuring high-quality design output and alignment with business goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING


  • UX Strategy & Execution:


  • Develop user-centric workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with product requirements and business objectives.
  • Work closely with UX Researchers, Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to refine and execute design solutions.
  • Contribute to and help evolve Saviynt’s design system to ensure consistency across the platform.
  • Ensure accessibility and usability best practices are followed to enhance the overall user experience.

  • Team Leadership & Management:


  • Manage and mentor a team of UX designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to elevate design quality.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the design team while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Oversee project prioritization and bandwidth allocation to align design efforts with the product roadmap.
  • Conduct regular design reviews, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to UX best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between UX design, product management, and engineering to streamline workflows and optimize collaboration.
  • Advocate for design excellence and communicate the value of UX to executive leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
  • This role requires a balance of strong design execution and leadership skills, making it ideal for someone passionate about both crafting exceptional user experiences and empowering a team of designers.

WHAT YOU BRING


  • Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or related product design field
  • 7-10 years experience in a web-based, product centric company
  • At least 5+ years experience leading a team of designers
  • At least 5 years of experience solving complex user experience problems preferred
  • Experience solving complex design problems for Web interactions or software solutions required
  • Must be a self-starter who drives projects forward through communication and diligence.
  • Provide a customer centric digital portfolio representing your design process
  • Exceptional design velocity: especially in developing concepts and variations.
  • Proficiency creating wireframes and prototypes with Figma
  • Understand and practice user-centric design principles
  • Strong, proven skill in creating concepts to final pixel perfect deliverables. And a deeply collaborative and iterative approach to product design, focused on ensuring a unified experience across experiences
  • Willing to work remotely with teammates and stakeholders in different time zones
  • Demonstrated experience creating complex mobile designs and workflows
  • Low ego approach and highly collaborative
  • Demonstrated experience presenting design concepts and workflows to company leaders and customers

  • Desired Experience:


  • Knowledge of Identity Security, Access Management or Cybersecurity domain experience will be considered as a significant advantage 
  • Strong capability to understand complex data structure, provide design options on diverse hierarchies and do reasonable validation 
  • Experience with motion graphics and UI animations for web apps
  • Experience with enterprise web-based products focused on platform administration
  • Experience with HTML and CSS and front-end prototyping
  • Experience with user research and quantitative usability testing
  • Knowledge of database and programming
  • Experience with technical platform products and developer users
  • Experience with quantitative user behavior analysis software tools
  • Background in SaaS products

At Saviynt, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and final compensation decisions are dependent on many factors including, but are not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other relevant business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $150,000 - $190,000 annually.


You may also be eligible to participate in a Saviynt discretionary bonus plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.


If required for this role, you will:

Complete security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually thereafter

Review (initially and annually thereafter), understand, and adhere to Information Security/Privacy Policies and Procedures such as (but not limited to):

> Data Classification, Retention & Handling Policy

> Incident Response Policy/Procedures

> Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Policy/Procedures

> Mobile Device Policy

> Account Management Policy

> Access Control Policy

> Personnel Security Policy

> Privacy Policy
