We’re seeking a hands-on Lead UI/UX Designer who thinks in user behavior, journeys, and outcomes. This role will lead the UI/UX team and will establish scalable UX best practices, build a scalable design system, and user research so we can design based on real user needs and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the UI/UX design team
- Own UX quality across all products in the GoTu portfolio
- Translate business goals into clear user outcomes and measurable experience improvements
- Design flows that guide user behavior and focus on user outcomes
- Implement UX best practices across the platform and ensure consistency across the design team
- Build and champion a culture of design validation and user-centered thinking
- Lead discovery with Product, Engineering & Stakeholders ensuring we’re solving the right problem before building
- Create clarity and consistency across our platform through a design system and re-usable components
- Coach and develop team to think in journeys, outcomes, and psychology
- 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design role
- Experience in a two-sided marketplace strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong UX fundamentals: user journeys, behavioral design, usability principles
- Superb communication both verbal and written
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work - from problem definition to shipped outcomes
- Ability to articulate design decisions clearly and logically
