The Role
As our Lead of Treasury, you will manage day-to-day Qonto's treasury operations in the context of the transition from a payment institution to a credit institution. In partnership with our Accounting and Risk & Compliance teams, you will oversee our clients’ deposits and ensure regulatory compliance. You will lead the Treasury team through this operational transformation while working directly with our ALM team to implement their strategies and all banking requirements needed.
You will report and work closely with Frédéric Giraud, our Director of Core Finance.
👩💻🧑💻 As Lead of Treasury at Qonto, you will
• Lead and manage the treasury team through the banking license transition, ensuring operational stability and team development
• Conduct gap analysis between current Payment Institution (PI) operations and banking license requirements, creating a clear project roadmap with defined milestones
• Serve as primary treasury contact for banking license requirements, working directly with our Regulatory team
• Execute our Asset & Liability Management (ALM) strategies defined by the ALM Team and validated by the ALM Committee to optimize the management of our clients’ deposits and support revenue generation
🤔 What you can expect
• Banking transformation context: You'll manage treasury operations during Qonto's transition from payment service provider to licensed bank, handling direct deposit management for 500,000+ customers
• Regulatory compliance focus: Work directly with French banking regulators (ACPR) on banking license requirements and compliance implementation
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Product teams while managing relationships with banking partners and system providers
• Operational excellence: Build treasury frameworks and processes that will scale with Qonto's growth while maintaining regulatory standards
• Team leadership: Guide your team through significant operational changes while maintaining daily treasury operations

🏅 About You
• Banking treasury experience: You have hands-on experience in treasury operations in back-office or Middle office, within a licensed bank environment, understanding deposit management, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks
• Team leadership: You already have a successful experience in managing a team in the field of banking treasury
• Regulatory expertise: You understand banking license requirements and have a good understanding of working with financial regulators, such as the French ACPR
• ALM execution: You have practical experience executing ALM strategies, including balance sheet optimization and liquidity management within defined frameworks
• Project management: You can create clear roadmaps, manage complex implementations, and deliver results within tight timelines while maintaining the delivery of treasury operations
