What you'll do:
- Implement automated tests that cover functional and non-functional requirements to evaluate the quality of our Javelin line of products
- Provide technical leadership and act as a resource and coach for your team
- Maintain high morale and motivate engineers to go above and beyond
- Help establish a culture of quality and processes that support a world-class testing organization
- Develop expertise in the products owned by your team, and use that expertise to advocate on behalf of the customer in design, implementation, testing, and planning sessions
- Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and process improvements
- Partner with the test and development teams to determine the best infrastructure and frameworks to deliver automation in a continuous integration system
- Ensure quality is being designed into the system
- Continue to expand and enforce our Quality processes and best practices across your team with comprehensive test planning, execution, and reporting
- Review automation implementations and encourage sound design principles while remaining practical and milestone driven
- Know and care about what the customer wants from our service -- and be willing to stand up for it!
- Ability to work in global cross-office teams, including travelling to remote offices as required
- ZS is a global firm; fluency in English is required
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in CS or EE. CS is preferred
- 6+ years of Quality Engineering experience in one or more software companies, with a minimum of 2 years of officially being a lead of 2 or more individual contributors
- Expert at QE testing methodologies, tools and approaches (black box, white box, code coverage, performance and automated testing experience)
- Experience developing automated tests for projects with complex functionality that require a deep understanding of the application logic and dependencies
- Extensive knowledge of testing tools, such as Selenium, NUnit , Jira,etc
- K nowledge/ exposure of AWS/ Lambda / API is good to have
- Ability to motivate people and achieve results
- Strong verbal, written and team presentation communication skills
