ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform functional testing, integration testing and regression testing.
- Translate Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements/user stories into detailed test plans and test cases.
- Execute test cases and collect evidence.
- Document defects identified during testing and track until closure.
- Provide test data support for User Acceptance Testing.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time and priorities effectively.
- Use standardized testing methods, tools, and procedures to ensure testing is efficient, effective, and comprehensive.
- Provide inputs to deliverable and reports.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the client, co-workers, and management team.
- Ability to work in an integrated team environment.
- Experience mentoring and coach junior resources.
- Ability to function as a CMS Testing subject matter expert.
- Provide assignments of work to team members based on resource availability and expertise.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with test plan, test case preparation, test execution, requirement traceability, peer reviews, defect tracking.Experience with SDLC and Agile software testing.
- Experience with ALM and/or TestRail.
- Experience with Mainframe development/testing.
- Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff members.
- Experience with direct client interaction.
- Experience with status reporting both internally and to the client.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with CMS projects.
- Experience with ECHIMP.
- Certification in Testing and/or Agile.
- Experience with FISS/MCS/DME/CWF/BCRC systems.
- Experience with ALM and/or TestRail.
- Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology related field (preferred)
