About the Role:
The Lead Test Engineer position is responsible to drive automation innovation and integration of new technologies which works best for ETL to increase the performance and efficiency of the Quality Engineering department.
What you will need
-
Strong IT professional with 7+ years of experience in software ETL testing, including a minimum of 1 years in Lead role or management position. The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high on ownership and accountability.
Must have:
-
6+ years of QA experience

Strong knowledge in writing complex queries for validation of ETL process.

4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Automation ETL queries using latest technologies /Tools

Experience in Data Analysis, Data Validation.

Experience in Data warehouse testing using Azure Synapse, SQL Server and ETL Pipeline jobs.

Develop and execute ETL test cases based on functional and technical specifications.

Validate data integrity and accuracy through comprehensive testing of ETL processes.
-
Identify, document, and track defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
-
Perform data verification and reconciliation between source and target systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with testing efforts.

Generate and maintain test data for various scenarios.
-
Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and data integration.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Have experience in Estimation, prioritization, and planning/coordination of testing activities in a Scrum environment

Experience in using JIRA for defect management and documentation

Handling ETL QA Team size of 2-3 people
Good to have:

Exposure to Data ops, Data bricks Tools

Experience in BI report testing using Business Objects, BI Publisher

Good to have SQL Server Management Studio exposure
