Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in Technology Operations, Infrastructure Support, Monitoring, or Production Support environments.
Proven experience leading technology operations teams in a 24x7 support environment.
Strong knowledge of incident management, problem management, service restoration, and operational governance.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Product, and Customer Success teams.
It Would Be Great If You Also Had
Experience with ITIL processes and best practices.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Centreon, or PRTG.
Experience supporting private and public cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong Linux, Windows, and networking troubleshooting skills, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
What Will You Be Doing in This Role?
Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for 24x7 monitoring and support of critical applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and production services.
Drive operational excellence by ensuring SLA compliance, managing incidents and major outages, and overseeing service health, performance, and availability.
Plan and execute operational changes, patching activities, maintenance events, and service restoration efforts while minimizing business impact.
Champion automation, observability, continuous improvement, and operational maturity initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Mentor and develop team members while providing operational reporting, risk updates, and service reviews to business and technology leadership.
