About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant supporting the Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) Data Quality team governing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Management Database (AMDB).
In this role, you will:
- Execute and/or oversee all the SACM Data Quality controls to ensure they are executed with precision and ensure evidence is always stored in appropriate repositories.
- Ensure all SACM Data Quality ServiceNow scripted audits and desired state audits are identified and executing in accordance with the CMDB Logical Data Model.
- Oversee the creation of all SACM Data Quality stories related to ServiceNow scripted audits and desired state audits, execute testing and conduct validation of those efforts.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of team procedures and processes around SACM Data Quality and Hardware State governance and ensure the team is executing those procedures on a daily basis.
- Investigate root causes of Data Quality issues and support the team in developing partnerships with teams across technology to address Data Quality issues.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships across SACM teams and technology groups centered around Data Quality root cause analysis and resolution.
- Support escalations for the team when Data Quality resolutions are delayed eliminating roadblocks and holding appropriate parties accountable for execution.
- Represent the SACM Data Quality function and present at governance council meetings.
- Lead the collection of evidence for control evaluations and audit requests of the SACM Data Quality functions for compliance with current procedures; ensures corrective action is carried out.
- Provide mentorship, collaboration, support and guidance to the SACM Data Quality team across all functions to drive improvements and results.
- Analyze data to draw data-driven recommendations in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of the CMDB and AMDB Logical Data Model and associated Configuration Item (CI) types.
- Creation and maintenance of SACM Data Quality related knowledge articles to ensure information is always current and clear.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of data analytics and problem-solving logic to identify root cause issues and develop data-driven recommendations
- 2+ years leading a team of individuals in a collaborative team environment across multiple locations
- 2+ years of experience using ServiceNow IT Service Management functionality (Change, Incident, Problem, CMDB, AMDB), with the knowledge to look at records and understand the data
- 2+ years of experience working on SCRUM teams using Jira to manage work stories
- 1 + years of experience managing SharePoint Lists to manage work queues
