About the Role
The Technical Project Manager, Lead is responsible for leading the successful implementation of SaaS-based systems for clients in the automotive and heavy-duty industries. This role manages end-to-end project delivery, performs business analysis, drives process improvements, and ensures clear, consistent communication across technical teams, stakeholders, and customers. The position supports internal project governance using Agile methodologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Leadership
Oversee day-to-day activities of their team of Technical Project Managers
Manage the full lifecycle of SaaS implementation projects, from initiation through delivery and post-launch support.
Define project scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables through business analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
Drive stakeholder alignment, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Daily Execution
Create, update, and manage project tasks, timelines, and dependencies using Wrike or similar project management tools.
Lead project meetings with customers and internal cross-functional teams.
Coordinate and oversee software testing, quality assurance milestones, and acceptance criteria.
Act as the primary communication bridge between development teams and clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, logs, and status updates in Wrike.
Goals & Objectives
Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations.
Ensure a positive and professional customer onboarding experience.
Continuously evaluate and improve project management and onboarding processes.
Collaboration & Reporting
Provide weekly project status reports, including risks, timelines, and budget tracking, to leadership.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate efforts between technical teams, business leads, and other stakeholders.
Recommend improvements to workflows, tools, and project methodologies.
Additional Contributions
Mentor team members or cross-functional contributors on project management methodologies and best practices.
Contribute to process optimization, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Support occasional technical documentation, data preparation, and ETL-related activities as needed.
