Job Description
The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual, an experienced system analyst with project management skills, strong communication skills, payments business acumen, understanding of regulatory requirements governing payments and experience defining system requirements for building resilient, scalable, high quality software. The person in this role is experienced in all phases of the SDLC, has experience working in agile development projects and is able to scale into a product owner as part of a development team tasked with creation of significant new features and major enhancements to the payment platform.

Success Criteria
The successful candidate is an experienced solutions analyst and project manager who leads cross functional development teams and is able to produce the following results:
- Delivery of new products and major enhancements on time and within budget
- Deployment of global platforms adapted to the local markets in Latin America
- Building technology teams that progressively grow in the practice of agile development
- Greater automation of business processes and operational efficiency
- Empowerment of the sales, client onboarding, client services and operations organizations
- Creating scalable, resilient, highly available, performant systems that run 24/7
- Enabling the ability to upgrade software components without existing business disruption
- Developing software that is compliant with technology lifecycle management demands
- Producing software that withstands scrutiny of security reviews and risk assessments
- Platform execution that consistently meets client and market service level agreements
- Seamless interlock, engagement and collaboration with global development teams
- Automation of Dev/Ops, testing, continuous integration and deployment
General Tasks & Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Product Managers to interpret and define business requirements
- Building, editing and maintaining the team backlog
- Defining epics, stories, functional test requirements and acceptance criteria
- Reviewing and prioritizing the backlog to facilitate iteration planning
- Collaborating with the development team to elaborate stories and acceptance criteria
- Participate in agile ceremonies, feature demonstrations and retrospectives
- Identifying requirements from products / business teams helping them to address client's needs
- Ensure the solutions are delivered in accordance with risk, regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Manage the execution of technical projects, coordinating resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects
- Develop plans and manage interdependencies between development teams and business units;
- Ensure the solutions are delivered in accordance with Risk, Architecture and other relevant firm-wide guidelines
- Keep the documentation updated
- Understand business processes and map them to technical solutions
- Interlock with infrastructure teams and other technology areas to implement the solution
Required Skills
- Effective tech project management
- Hands on experience designing technical architecture to address problem statements
- Experience defining functional and non-functional specifications
- Knowledge of payments technology platform features and market requirements
- Effective at running meetings and interlocks between project stakeholders
- Ability to translate epics, themes and stories into system features that address client needs
- Experience working on high throughput mission critical high performance platforms which have low error rates
- Fluent English
Required Experience
- 5-10+ years' experience as a technology project leader working within Banking industry
- Experience and practical knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
- Experience enhancing and developing mission-critical applications
- Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
- Experience designing technical solutions for cloud based applications
- Driving continual improvement in leading team and personal performance

Education
- BA/BS required in Computer Science or equivalent
