As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Consumer and Community Banking team, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Oversee and execute programs that ensure the effective management of technology assets, upgrades, and decommissioning across the organization.
- Manage and enhance risk and control frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Lead initiatives related to infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and tooling, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure technology environments.
- Coordinate and deliver complex, multi-team programs, leveraging Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and strong program management practices.
- Build trust and strong relationships with product, technology, and business teams through clear, effective communication and collaboration.
- Apply strong analytical skills and a metrics-driven approach to problem solving, decision making, and program reporting.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations and updates to senior management and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure effective vulnerability management and adherence to security operations best practices.
- Support resiliency initiatives, including compliance, risk prevention, event management, quality assurance of testing, evidence gathering, and continuous improvement
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
- Proven track record delivering large-scale, multi-team technical programs.
- Preferably experience as an Application Owner in a complex technology environment.
- Deep expertise in Cloud Platforms and Terraform upgrade lifecycle by utilizing EAC
- Familiarity with security operations and vulnerability management.
- Strong proficiency with Agile methodologies and program/project management tools.
- Experience managing technology lifecycle, risk & controls, and infrastructure programs.
- Strong analytical skills with a metrics-driven approach to problem solving and decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
- Experience in creating, maintaining, and auditing technical documentation and evidence for compliance and resiliency.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
