About the Role: We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Technical Program Manager to join the CIB Markets Technology - Digital Markets Execution team. You will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex technology projects that will help reach our business goals. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual contributor who thrives in agile, fast-paced and growth-oriented environments with a proven track record in organizations that build and commercialize Markets products and platforms.
This role requires technical acumen and a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices to develop innovative Sales & Client solutions while effectively managing resources, budgets and high-performing teams. Strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills are essential for navigating through ambiguity and change; ensuring technology initiatives align with business goals. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are critical, as the candidate will be expected to cultivate productive relationships and influence key decisions to achieve optimal outcomes. The successful candidate will implement and enhance mechanisms to improve delivery quality and team productivity. As a subject matter expert, you will also contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies; consistently upholding high standards of delivery and demonstrating the ability to deep dive into complex challenges to drive results.
Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to shape the overall product vision and agree on the shared OKRs for the products within your portfolio.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive multi-year technology roadmaps that provide clear direction and alignment across multi-disciplinary teams for successful delivery.
  • Orchestrate project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum.
  • Establish and manage a transparent governance structure that encourages open communication across the organization.
  • Guide technology teams to navigate or eliminate organizational obstacles to delivery.
  • Understand the regulatory environment and ensure a robust controls framework is in place.
  • Utilize data-driven assets to review program performance, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate business results through metrics.
  • Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into easily understood solutions.
  • Demonstrated strong risk awareness and critical thinking abilities.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with a diverse audience across various levels of seniority.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business or technical objectives into manageable activities.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Degree-level education or higher in a STEM subject matter is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Markets Sales processes and experience with trade booking systems in large organizations would be advantageous.
