We at Coforge are hiring Lead Technical Business Analyst (#22149) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead business analysis activities for insurance data platforms, defining business rules, financial logic, and data requirements for enterprise reporting and analytics.

· Perform hands-on data profiling, source analysis, and data quality assessments, partnering with Data Engineering teams to improve ingestion and transformation processes.

· Design and validate conceptual and logical data models that support reporting, reconciliation, historical analysis, API enablement, and self-service analytics.

· Collaborate with business, BI, and platform teams to define semantic layers, KPIs, and data products while supporting the migration from legacy reporting solutions to modern Databricks and Power BI platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst working with enterprise data platforms.

· Strong experience within the insurance industry, including policy, claims, underwriting, customer, billing, or payments data.

· Hands-on experience performing data profiling, source analysis, reconciliation, and data quality assessments.

· Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and Data Warehousing concepts.

· Experience defining business rules, KPIs, semantic layers, and analytics requirements.

· Experience working with SQL and collaborating closely with Data Engineering teams on ETL/ELT and transformation logic.

· Familiarity with Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, and modern cloud-based analytics platforms.

· Experience supporting API-driven data services and designing data for low-latency consumption.

· Experience working with Power BI or similar Business Intelligence platforms.

· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with dbt and modern data transformation frameworks.

· Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Azure.

· Experience supporting enterprise data migration and modernization initiatives.

· Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.

· Experience enabling self-service analytics and enterprise reporting solutions.
