Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related; or Associate's Degree in ECE or related, with 9 months of experience; or High School Diploma, with EEC-approved courses and 36 months of experience.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Experience:
- 2+ years of early childhood education experience (lead or co-lead experience preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Physical Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. (Required)
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Intermediate PC skills and proficiency with general administrative tasks. (Required)
- Active engagement throughout the day including standing, sitting on the floor, bending, and lifting up to ~60 lbs.
- Ability to fulfill cognitive and interpersonal aspects of a classroom leadership including speaking, hearing, reading, writing, focusing attention, and building relationships
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
The Gardner School is an academically focused preschool for ages 6 Weeks to 5 Years. We have created a rich learning environment that stimulates our students’ physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Skills Required

What We Do
The Gardner School operates academically focused preschools and childcare centers for children from six weeks through age five. Its programs combine intentional early learning, experienced and caring teachers, peer interaction, and thoughtfully designed environments to support children’s growth, curiosity, confidence, and sense of belonging.
