About the Role: 

Citco IT is a global team of IT professionals that is responsible for the development and support of IT applications throughout Citco Group’s divisions.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Developer to work within a very exciting and challenging role on a new strategic financial application. The successful candidate will be working with a specialized technical teams serving a wide range of buines groups.

The position is part of the IT team and involves close interaction with Citco IT System Architects, Business Analysts, QA Teams and other technical groups and resources.

Job Duties in Brief: 

• Proactively design, develop and code  solutions in  according to development best practices and current development technologies

• Enhance, optimize and expand current installations to meet new business challenges 

• Systems documentation and knowledge base management for support efficiencies

• Provide T24 BAU Support to the Business Teams.

• Monitor Ticketing Systems and proactively resolves any reported issues.

• Ability to work and co-ordinate with other CITCO Teams and Vendors.

• Release Management support, deploying T24 packages to Test and Production environments.

About You: 

• Required IT skills 

• At least 5 years’ experience in T24 Development.

• Proficient in Info Basic programming.

• Expert knowledge of T24 development tools such as Versions and Enquiries

• Good working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX OS and Oracle Database. 

• Ability to proactively troubleshoot defects/issues and escalate or resolve accordingly.

• Beneficial IT skills 

• Experience working on R23 Release or higher.

• Knowledge of TAFJ would be advantageous.

• Design Studio, building Temenos Web Services and configuring Integration Framework Events.

• Experience in some of the following technologies would be beneficial: Java, MQ, and JBOSS.

• The candidate should be comfortable using a source control system, such as Subversion, Git etc.

• T24 Functional Knowledge, particularly within Payments, Treasury and Account Modules.

Development

• Experience with business intelligence, data analysis, data modelling and visualization solutions on Cloud, on-premises and hybrid

• Experience with Databricks platform 

• Experience with Python, SQL, relational database objects (Oracle and/or SQL Server) and procedural languages (PL/SQL and/or T-SQL)

• Experience with Version Control systems

• Web Services integration using REST/SOAP/JSON

• Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence is a plus

• Exposure to SQL Server Integration Services

• Must have excellent communication skills and be able present diagnostic, troubleshooting steps and conclusions to a varied audience including both business and technical stakeholders

• Hedge Funds or Financial systems industry domain experience
