You will report directly to our Director of Engineering, working out of Redmond, WA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions that support Honeywell Aerospace’s aerospace initiatives, helping to drive innovation and maintain our leadership in the industry.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

On our team, you will have the opportunity to work on next-generation and new product development projects, directly contributing to the advancement of aviation technology in the Airborne Traffic, Collision Avoidance & Surveillance Avionics space. You will have ownership for systems engineering development at every aspect of the systems life cycle.

  • Lead customer interactions and ensure timely and successful delivery of programs within scope and budget.
  • Systems/software requirements development, validation, integration or verification.
  • Work across disciplines, collaborating with cross-functional teams consisting of Systems, Software, Hardware and Test Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members. 
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and can work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in systems engineering.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors or Masters in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in various application areas supporting Avionics functions, Navigation and Airborne Surveillance (TCAS, Transponder, ADS-B, DME, UAT).
  • Adept in systems integration of complex systems, systems test procedures and reviews.
  • Ability to manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies effectively

US PERSONS REQUIREMENT

The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000-155,000 . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
