As an APU Controls Lead Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and verifying control systems for Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) in the Engines & Power Systems (EPS) business unit. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with a team to develop control system components (LRUs) and electronic controller for a new APU program.
- Executing and documenting trade studies.
- Develop and implement the MBSE and digital engineering architecture for a new APU controls development program.
- Integrating control system with APU.
- Control system requirements development, analysis, decomposition, and validation.
- Develop and implement control algorithms and software for APUs.
- Control system design, integration, and validation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or aerospace engineering
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience in support of safety-critical aerospace development
- Strong knowledge and understanding of control systems engineering principles and processes
- Experience with control system design, implementation, and testing
