Qvantel is looking for a Lead Support Engineer at Bangladesh to maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot critical telecom systems while ensuring high service efficiency!
About the Role
Are you a skilled and experienced Telecom BSS Engineer with expertise in Ericsson Charging Systems, USSD gateway, and Voucher platforms?
Responsibilities
Maintain Ericsson Charging, E-voucher, USSD Gateway as L2 MS support.
Perform extensive troubleshooting based on tcpdump, log analysis, end-to-end system architectural knowledge and protocols (TCP, Diameter, CAPv2, HTML based protocols, IP network protocols).
Troubleshoot and solve SLA-bound issues (CDR, rating, subscriptions) and RAFM issues.
Perform on-demand script preparation and automation of mundane tasks using bash scripting, ansible, python.
Provide 24/7 on-call support and manage ITSM processes (Incident/Problem/Change Mgmt.).
Will be responsible for managing all CS related activities and regular operations and fulfilling SLA and KPIs.
Take full ownership in fulfilling all the SOX related activities in the charging domain and ensure that all controls are effectively operational.
Will be responsible to drive and handle end to end - incident management process, problem management process, SOX control delivery, performance reporting.
3PP management and on-demand requirement fulfillment.
Ongoing Project support as an experienced CS expert.
Qualifications
BSc in Computer Science and Engineering (Govt. recognized)
5-10 years in telecom charging systems Experience
Required Skills
RHCE/VMware/OpenStack certifications and hands-on experience
Working Knowledge on TCP/IP, Diameter, CAMEL, 2G/3G/4G architecture is must
Experience with MySQL/Oracle, Linux scripting, and VNF platforms
Skills Required
- BSc in Computer Science and Engineering (government recognized)
- 5-10 years telecom charging systems experience
- Hands-on experience with Ericsson Charging, E-voucher and USSD Gateway
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Diameter, CAMEL, CAPv2 and 2G/3G/4G architecture
- Experience analyzing tcpdump and logs and end-to-end system troubleshooting
- Linux scripting (bash) and automation using Ansible and Python
- Experience with MySQL or Oracle databases
- RHCE, VMware or OpenStack certification and hands-on virtualization experience
- Experience with VNF platforms
- Experience managing ITSM processes (Incident/Problem/Change) and 24/7 on-call support
- Experience meeting SLA/KPI targets, CDR/rating/subscription troubleshooting and RAFM
- Experience delivering SOX controls in the charging domain
