Job Functions and Duties: 

  • Responsible to the plant manager, daily report of workshop indicator operation and management;
  • Arranging workshop internal production according to production orders;
  • Implementing workshop contingency plans in case of sudden emergencies;
  • Responsible for supervision and inspection of each station pre-production preparations, labor discipline, work quality, production safety and compliance of employees with the 3 major operating instructions.
  • Responsible for workshop production quality and cost, controlling workshop indicators so as to meet the company requirements;
  • Responsible for implementing company management rules, briefing production, quality and labor discipline;
  • Responsible for organizing analysis and improvement of difficult problems, tracking the performance and feeding back;
  • Responsible for organizing statistical analysis and developing improvement measures and tracking performance in case of indicator abnormalities in production;
  • Responsible for coordinating workshop daily routine, cooperating with the Statistics Section, Department of Finance in completing workshop inventory and employee bonus accounting;
  • Responsible for auditing authenticity of workshop production statements and records and compliance of inventories and accounts, organizing statistical analysis and developing improvement measures and tracking the performance in case of any abnormalities;
  • Responsible for custody of workshop documents, statements and records;
  • Responsible for purchase of workshop daily production tooling and tools;
  • Responsible for supervising daily application, maintenance and custody of workshop equipment, tooling and tools;
  • Responsible for developing and organizing workshop employee post training and transfer training, and multi-post development plans, and tracking the implementation results;
  • Responsible for monitoring the implementation of 5s and SECURITY of workshop posts, maintaining a clean, efficient and safe working environment;
  • Participating in various activities to improve and solve problems so as to improve quality, eliminate waste and reduce costs;
  • Positively understanding and monitoring all workshop environmental factors, risk factors, hazards and their control methods;
  • Familiar with and supervising workshop material safety data sheets;
  • Conscientiously implementing integrated management system related documents;
  • Storing post wastes by categories;
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification:

  • Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
  • 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • The employee is regularly required o stand for long periods.                                                                                                       
  • Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds.                                                         
  • Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip) 
  • Visual acuity including, but not limited to: 
    • NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded.
    • FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions.
    • DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are.
    • COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
    • FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point. 
       
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • REASONING ABILITY - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • COMPUTER SKILLS - Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software.
  • Familiar with tempered product process and quality requirements;
  • Familiar with the product safety and regulation;
  • Familiar with process FMEA;
  • Skilled in mold repair technology;
  • Familiar with production statistical statements and recording, and other production statistics basic knowledge and skills;
  • Tempering Technology, Quality, Equipment Operation and Requirements
  • Plant Quota Evaluation and Production, Quality Statement Analysis
  • 5s and 6δ management knowledge;
  • Post Related Material Safety Data Sheet 
  • Powered Industrial Truck Certification. Propane, Gas, or Stand up if applicable
  • SPC, FMEA and Other Tools for Quality Management
  • Powered Industrial Truck Certification. Propane, Gas, or Stand up if applicable & Forklift Train the Trainer Certified
  • Must complete all training described in the Company’s Training Standard, in the areas of Safety, Output, Quality, Management, Leadership, 5S and Legal .

Skills Required

  • 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience or equivalent education
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of manufacturing software
  • Familiar with product safety and regulation
  • Powered Industrial Truck Certification
  • Forklift Train the Trainer Certified
