Humana's Marketing organization is seeking a Strategy Advancement Lead to join our Operational Model Transformation initiative. The Strategy Advancement Lead will play a pivotal role in driving organizational change, foster an agile mindset, and lead operational model transformation initiatives to enable teams to deliver value efficiently and effectively through people, platform, and process improvement opportunities.

As the Strategy Advancement Lead, you will develop and lead strategic initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities to drive business value, and recommend strategic advancement across the operational model. Work includes aligning improvement initiatives to strategic advancement, analyzing and measuring effectiveness of existing business processes, recommend business practices and procedures that focus on increased productivity and reduced cost.

Key Role Functions

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies for advancing organizational goals aligned to Operational Model Transformation with focus around optimizing workflows, reducing inefficiencies, and enhancing operational performance
  • Develop and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decision-making and aligning improvement initiatives with functional OKRs and organizational goals. Recommendations include process innovation, technology utilization, and shared service models
  • Exercise independent judgement and decision-making authority to identify, evaluate, and implement strategicimprovements that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, impacting large cross functional teams
  • Work closely with Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to optimize marketing technology and data to support business objectives
  • Conduct process assessments, gap analyses, and root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop actional recommendations
  • Implement best practices and methodologies to optimize marketing end to end processes and enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Define, track, and analyze key marketing metrics and performance indicators using Agile approaches, providing actional insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate communication, transparency, and alignment, and manage expectations
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and knowledge sharing with teams and the broader organization

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (5+ years of equivalent experience)
  • Experience with strategic advancement and operational model transformation
  • Strong understanding of business end-to-end process, platforms, technologies and best practices
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving transformational initiatives
  • Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and drive results
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or similar methodologies
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies

Additional Information

This role is a nationwide remote role. Candidate must be able to accommodate EST time zone.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$112,400 - $154,900 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
