The Lead position is responsible for helping to improve the prioritization, efficiency, and impact of member-facing communications across marketing, operational, and regulatory communications as part of the Consumer Insights and Analytics organization at Humana. This role will report to the Associate Vice President, Customer Engagement Analysis.
This individual will have an immediate impact on driving efficiency and effectiveness across the delivery of >1B annual discretionary, operational, and regulatory communications to Humana’s customers, members, and patients. This role will drive adoption of analytical insights, help establish customer and business impact-focused prioritization, and identify new opportunities to improve member and business outcomes; all while minimizing member friction.
The successful candidate will have ability to influence key stakeholders, as this person must be comfortable working cross-functionally and collaboratively across Marketing, Enterprise Growth, MarketPoint, Insurance, CenterWell, Digital, IT, Corporate Communications, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations, among other lines of business.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assess business case of new campaigns and strategies
  • Deaverage data to identify segments of opportunity 
  • Work closely with teams of data scientists to monitor test vs. control performance of campaigns 
  • Respectfully challenge campaigns / strategies that do not have sufficient business or customer value 
  • Develop recommendations about which campaigns to scale up or wind down  
  • Identify bigger picture insights/ thematic opportunities based on observing performance across portfolio of campaigns  
  • Present analysis and recommendations to senior audiences

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or business analytics  
  • Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.  
  • Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by rigorous analytic marketing skills 
  • Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills 
  • Demonstrated success translating insight into business and customer impact 
  • Strong financial and business acumen  
  • High self-initiative, commitment and follow through. Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment  
  • Strong team player, able to build and leverage relationships across the organization 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Consulting experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline 
  • Experience as an analyst/data science consultant in a Fortune 100 company 

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$115,200 - $158,400 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
