About the Role
At Uber Freight, the Commercial Intelligence team is responsible for building the analytics foundation that powers how the commercial organization measures performance, prioritizes opportunities, and makes decisions. As a Senior Analyst, Commercial Intelligence & Advanced Analytics, you will help evolve our analytics capabilities beyond traditional reporting toward forward-looking insights that improve revenue performance and operational execution. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, GTM strategy, and decision enablement. You will partner closely with Sales, Pricing, Deal Desk, Customer Growth, and Commercial leadership to turn data into insights, predictive signals, and actionable recommendations. You will also contribute to the development of the next generation analytics layer that enables predictive, prescriptive, and AI-assisted decision making across the commercial organization.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Develop analytical frameworks to evaluate GTM performance, pipeline health, pricing effectiveness, and customer growth
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across commercial performance and translate them into actionable insights
- Support leadership with analysis that explains what happened, why it happened, and what actions to take next
- Design predictive and prescriptive models that support forecasting, pipeline progression, and revenue optimization
- Analyze deal performance, pricing trends, and customer behavior to inform commercial strategy
- Partner with GTM, Pricing, and Deal Desk teams to solve business problems using data
- Contribute to the evolution of the commercial analytics stack onGCP, ensuring business logic and KPIs are consistently defined
- Help curate advanced analytics layers that sit on top of the enterprise data foundation
- Partner with Data Engineering to ensure scalable, reliable data models supporting analytics and decision frameworks
- Develop and maintain dashboards and data products inTableauthat support commercial operating rhythms (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs)
- Translate analytical insights into clear, intuitive visualizations that support fast decision making
- Ensure outputs are trusted, consistent, and aligned with enterprise KPI definitions
- Work directly with Sales, GTM Strategy, Pricing, Deal Desk, and Customer Success stakeholders
- Translate business questions into structured analyses and data solutions
- Provide proactive insights that improve performance, forecasting confidence, and decision quality
Basic Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles
- Exposure and experience with SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience with Python for data analysis, modeling, or experimentation
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau
- Familiarity with modern cloud data environments such as GCP / BigQuery or similar platforms
- Experience supporting commercial teams such as Sales, Pricing, Revenue Operations, or Customer Success
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, or experimentation
- Exposure to AI-driven analytics or advanced analytical frameworks
- Experience in freight, logistics, transportation, marketplaces, or supply chain
- Strong ability to connect data insights to business outcomes
- Ability to break down complex business questions and develop structured analytical approaches

Employees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more. US based employees may also be eligible for a performance or sales incentive bonus program, participation in Uber Freight equity awards, and other types of compensation depending upon the role.
Illinois: The salary range for this role is $122,650 to $176,550 a year
