About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Specialty software Engineer with a deep understanding of Finastra LIQ and syndicated lending. This role will work closely with the Wells Fargo LIQ team to ensure the platform is ready to accept converted loans from AFS. The role will be part of the overall LIQ team with a specific focus initially on AFS to LIQ conversions. Role will act in a lead capacity in technology as we build complex solutions to convert data from AFS to LIQ. Analysis, mapping, tech solutions, development, testing and conversion will all be part of this role
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives on selected domains
- Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
- Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
- Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
- Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
- Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Mentor less experienced software engineers
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years Finastra LIQ
- 5+ years conversion experience (AFS to LIQ preferred)
- 1+ year Automated Financial Systems (AFS) level 3 experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as SonarQube, Static Application Security Testing (SAST) such as Checkmarx or GitHub Code Scanning, and software composition analysis (SCA) tools such as Black Duck or Dependabot
- Experience with Java, NodeJS, GO, Python and Bash scripting
- Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Background in agile environments and cross-functional team collaboration
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of non-functional requirements and software design best practices
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines and with virtual team members
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Industry a plus
- Extensive hands-on experience of building large scale conversion applications
- Ability to produce technology platforms of high capacity, high volume, high throughput and low latency

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$120,400.00 - $262,600.00Benefits
