Process Brief
Our Client & Managed Services team is part of the Buy Side Services organization providing support and services for our Buyside clients globally. As a member of this team – you are an individual who is enthusiastic, intellectually curious and takes pride in the work they do. We offer the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in the FactSet Performance Measurement, Attribution, Risk, Reporting and Analytics products suite and solutions by bridging the gap between investment and software professionals. The role requires collaborative partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders including client representatives, sales, product specialists and engineers.
What You’ll Do:
The Lead Specialist, Specialty Services is a subject matter expert in one or more of FactSet’s Specialty Products, tasked with retaining business by delivering on high-value projects and engagements. They are primarily responsible for resolving client requests related to our Specialty Products, serving as main lines of contact for select specialty product users and clients, acting as escalation, and a key contributor to internal specialty product training.
- 60% Speciality Services retention efforts focused on both client support work and other time and knowledge intensive projects. Pro-actively prioritizing of requests, issues and problems.
- Analyze and solve complex business issues related to clients’ investment portfolios, financial data, analytics, and workflows.
- 15% Actively participates and contributes to best-practices initiatives and product/workflow enhancements for Speciality Services
- 10% Work towards improving client health by monitoring usage, understanding account strategy, contributing to account planning and execution
- 10% Collaborating, mentoring, training, supporting, and acting as escalation for the RCS Customer Success or Managed Services Operations teams and other client teams at FactSet
- 5% Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the finance industry, current market trends and economic factors in order to maintain a competitive edge, advance, and execute Speciality Services value-add strategies
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience required
- Solid experiences with performance measurement, total return calculation and performance attribution
- Proven experiences or understanding in Asset Management industry, strong understanding in financial products and instruments
- Technical skills such as Python, SQL, advanced Excel and relational databases
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire confidence and maintain composure in stressful situations
- Manages time, resources, and priorities effectively
