Wood Mackenzie’s Marketing Performance team require a Marketing Analyst to support the Senior Manager for the Analytics & Insight function of the department. The individual will be required to provide Analytics and Insight that will enable the Marketing department to make more informed decisions which will ultimately help our Commercial colleagues generate higher revenue.
The individual will need to support the Analytics & Insight plan for the year, ensuring best practices are followed whilst supplying high value Analytics & Insights to colleagues using the most appropriate methods, whilst identifying opportunities for improvements.
Main Responsibilities
• Provide Analytics & Insight that enable Marketing colleagues to make more informed decisions, to ensure targets and KPI’s are achieved.
• Maximise the potential of data available across Woodmac’s Tech stack to extract Insight.
• Play a part in how Analytics and Insight can help to contribute to improvements in lead managers conversion rates.
• Provide Marketing Analytics & Insight that can support campaign performance and commercial decision making.
• Work with Digital, Program, Event, Product, Brand and PR teams to help support their priorities via actionable Insight.
• Identify gap analysis, understanding where Marketing is missing opportunities for revenue growth, as well as where inefficiencies are taking place.
• Contribute to development of reporting in Power BI.
• Identify the most appropriate methods for displaying Insights
• Collaborate with other Analysts to provide a rounded picture of performance
• Support where necessary any Data Governance, quality, and hygiene requests.
• Provide support to Marketing performance colleagues when required
• Uphold business compliance requirements – timesheets, office attendance.
• Maintain a log of, and carry out, regular data quality tasks on our databases such as MQLs, SQLs and Contact Data to ensure continued optimisation of the data we collect
• Identify and support AB testing efforts
About you
• Experience in providing Analytics & Insight in a B2B Marketing role.
• Experience in using Power BI to build dashboards and extract Insights.
• Experience in using data from MarTech tools such as Salesforce.
• Experience in using GA4 would be preferred.
• Good presentation skills.
• The ability to tell a story using data.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• The ability to work with colleagues to identify methods for collecting data, perform data analysis and articulate findings to stakeholders using the most appropriate methods.
• The ability to prioritise effectively to meet targets.
• A proactive approach to day-to-day work.
• Experience of using SQL and Python.
• A curious nature, with the ability to investigate business critical questions via Analytics & Insight.
• Good stakeholder management.
Expectations
o We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.
o Due to the global nature of the team, a degree of flexible working will be required to accommodate different time zones.
