We are seeking a talented individual to join our Data Analytics & Insight team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
Wrangle, standardize and integrate US Worker’s Compensation and Auto Liability (AL) claims data across clients and transform them to be consumed for Analytics
Review metrics in Dashboards to make sure that the values are within the defined range and call out any anomaly or unusual trends
Handle complex and large claim files originating from third party’s Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS)
Review claims data to identify the gaps and raise flags highlighting the impact
Co-ordinate stakeholders in US to understand the business questions, scope of analytics and agree on timelines
Excellence in deliverables with high accuracy and within the set turn-around-time for project requests
Manage activities ensuring that workflow remains on track for completion by target dates
What you need to have:
1 to 3 years of experience with strong data analytics skillsets. Candidates with General Insurance domain across different types of claims, claims lifecycle and claim data will be preferred
Graduate in any Stream or any equivalent education programme
Candidates with experience on US Worker’s Compensation and/or Auto Liability claims will have an advantage
Microsoft Excel – Intermediate on data wrangling, data integration, macros and exceptional ability to handle large sets of data. Must be at ‘Intermediate’ level of proficiency
Strong verbal and written communication skills - excellent email writing skills.
Basic level Python, BI tool or VBA Macros with demonstrated experience in building data transformation and modelling will be an added advantage
Ability to interact virtually with business stakeholders from junior through senior levels
