Lead Solution Architect, OneStream COE
This position is part of the OneStream COE within Corporate Finance IT. The Lead Solution Architect will work closely with Functional Leads to develop and enhance OneStream solutions, to meet the consolidation and financial reporting needs of our operating business units and corporate departments around the world. They will help serve our stakeholder community in the existing setup of OneStream and help support the additional enhancements and utilization of the OneStream XF Platform and MarketPlace tools including managing metadata updates and feature enhancements.
Primary Duties:
- Maintenance of the system’s metadata in accordance with the Company’s change management policy.
- Actively collaborate with the functional team to translate business requirements into optimal and scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize OneStream security models, event processes, dashboards, reports, business rules, and member formulas ensuring application availability and performance.
- Configuration of OneStream including but not limited to: Workflows, Data Sources, Transformation Rules, Business Rules and Calculations, Dashboards, Data Management Sequences, Cube / Master Data, System Security.
- Ensure Application governance across OS environments like code management, artifact management etc.
- Create and maintain robust documentation for business requirements, best practices, and build principles.
- Research and identify opportunities to continuously improve existing solutions.
- Communicate design proposals and best practices to functional teams in a clear and concise manner.
- Actively collaborate with the Functional Leads and Solution Architects within the OneStream COE to drive innovative solution concepts, including driving automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT preferred
- Overall, 7+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end OneStream Software implementations
- Strong understanding of financial processes, including financial close, consolidation, financial reporting, and FP&A
- Strong VB.net or Visual Basic experience and knowledge to support systematic calculations
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize OneStream security models, event processes, dashboards, reports, business rules, and member formulas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products, must demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills together with a strong understanding of the data and collection processes
- Very strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Good team player and ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Power BI and other reporting experience a plus
- Familiarity with corporate tax filings / IFRS / FAS 109 / FAS 52 provisioning a plus
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley Requirements a plus
- Experience with Oracle’s HFM a plus
- Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time (both domestic and internationally)
