Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Software Manager to drive the development, deployment, and operational excellence of our software solutions. This role combines platform engineering, DevOps, and change management to ensure secure, scalable, and high-quality applications. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with technology while laying a strong foundation for future managerial growth.
Key Responsibilities

Lead application development within an internal Data & Analytics (D&A) team.

Collaborate with service and product managers to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure compliance with Application Governance and Access Management policies.
-
Define and implement role-based access controls and security best practices.
-
Oversee software deployment and operational performance while identifying areas for improvement.
-
Communicate technical opportunities and constraints to stakeholders.
-
Foster a culture of DevOps, automation, and continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications
-
DevOps Practices (CI/CD) – Strong understanding and implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment.

Containers – Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Cloud Services – Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Technical Architecture – Ability to design scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Coding Proficiency – Understanding and ability to work with various programming languages.
-
Agile SCRUM & Sprint Planning – Experience in Agile methodologies and sprint management.
-
Security Practices – Ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
-
Leadership Skills – Strong ability to manage, guide, and support development teams.

Project Management & Leadership – Experience leading development teams and managing software deployment.

ITIL v4 Foundation & PMP Certification – Knowledge of IT service management and project management best practices.

Automation & Scripting – Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Networking & Security Compliance – Knowledge of security frameworks, authentication, and role-based access control.
