Job Description:
Job Title – Lead - Software Engineering - Full Stack Developer
The Purpose of This Role
We are seeking for a Developer in the ITSSM team with a good exposure of the Java scripting. This person should have 5-8 years of IT experience with 2-4 years of experience in ServiceNow development. The development experience in the ITAM and Discovery module will be preferred. The person should preferably have exposure to the modules related to Asset and configuration management or Service Management in ServiceNow.

Primary responsibility will be development of wizards and workflows in ServiceNow

Primary responsibility of customization of the data model in ServiceNow.

Primary responsibility of development of the integrations to other applications in ServiceNow using Webservices (REST / SOAP) and database integration.

Respond to all the escalations in timely fashion.

Coordination with on call person on any critical incidents requiring immediate attention during off business hours.

Maintain the documents related to the group and contribute to Knowledge Management articles for better Operations practice.

Technical / Behavioral

Experience in Vancouver version onwards is preferred

Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, Python, REST and Scripting in ServiceNow

UI customization and workflow development in ServiceNow

Technical aptitude and ability to continually evolve systems support skills.

How Your Work Impacts the Organization
This is a part of EI SEI – Service Insights and Experience group. This group provides Service and Support management and monitoring solution for the enterprise. The project deals with IT Service and Support and primarily works on ServiceNow. Currently the group is undertaking a major project to refactor existing ServiceNow implementation.
