About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Linux Driver Engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining Linux drivers, particularly on the Broadcom platform. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the field and a proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driver Development: Design, develop, and maintain Linux device drivers for Broadcom hardware platforms.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, system architects, and other software engineers to ensure seamless integration of drivers with hardware and software systems.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize driver performance and reliability, ensuring high efficiency and low latency.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to driver functionality and performance.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for driver development processes, code, and system configurations.
• Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Over 5 years of experience in Linux driver development, with a strong focus on Broadcom platforms.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in C/C++ programming, Linux kernel development, and debugging tools.
• Broadcom Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Broadcom hardware, including networking and storage solutions.
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Familiarity with open-source development and contribution.
• Knowledge of security best practices in driver development.
