DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Work collaboratively with Customers, SRE, Engineers and Architects to identify friction points for application migration. Identify and provide solutions for friction points and opportunities for modernization. Architect and enable application solutions and services. Modernize complex applications and product stacks to migrate to the public cloud. Apply modern development, engineering and architecture practices for Public Cloud adoption from IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, Security and DevOps. Update stackholders with application health status and metrics on a weekly/monthly basis. Help deliver high-quality products to enable business and agility. Collaborate with different teams on large scale and security software development. Apply, work in, and manage agile and lean disciplines. Perform information retrieval and networking. Monitor applications during peak hours to address any production issues as necessary. Meet with downstream and upstream application owners to address business needs and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Lead Software Engineer, Programmer, Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Lead Software Engineer, Programmer, Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Windows; Enterprise Windows Server Infrastructure; Agile SDLC; Hybrid SDLC; Enterprise Application Architecture Disciplines; Enterprise Data Architecture Disciplines; Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines; .NET; C#; design and creation of Enterprise Microservices; SQL; XML; design and creation of REST APIs; JSON; designing, creating and executing Automated Testing; designing, creating, and executing Functional Testing; designing, creating, and executing Manual Testing; designing, creating, and executing Regression Testing; designing, creating, and executing System Integration Testing; and designing, creating, and executing Unit Testing.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
