Location: Bangalore, India (Remote) Team: Angles for SAP Engineering Reports to: Director of Engineering

Angles for SAP from insightsoftware is our flagship ERP analytics solution — giving SAP customers direct, governed access to their business data without the complexity of traditional reporting stacks.

We are looking for a Lead Developer to join the Angles for SAP engineering team. You will drive the technical direction of our product, mentor a team of engineers, and ensure we deliver high-quality, scalable software that makes a real difference for our customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will write code, review architecture, guide technical decisions, and collaborate closely with product and customer success to shape what we build next.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of new features across the full stack
• Set and uphold engineering standards: code quality, testing practices, and architectural patterns
• Mentor and support developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate customer needs into technical solutions
• Evaluate and integrate AI-powered tooling and agents to accelerate development workflows
• Contribute to our technical roadmap and participate in architecture decisions
• Work directly with customer-facing teams to understand real-world use cases and pain points

• Strong C# and .NET backend development — you are fluent in modern C# syntax, understand async patterns deeply, and apply SOLID and DRY principles by default
• React frontend knowledge — you can build and maintain frontend features, and you understand component design, state management, and API integration
• Design patterns and clean architecture — you recognize when to apply the right pattern and why, and you can articulate those choices clearly to your team

• Five or more years of professional software development experience, with at least one year in a tech lead or senior role
• Hands-on experience developing with AI agents and modern AI-assisted development workflows (GitHub Copilot, agentic coding, LLM integrations, or similar)
• Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems — you do not need to be an SAP expert, but you understand what ERP data looks like and why it matters to business users
• Experience working in agile or product-led engineering teams

• Customer-first — you build for real users, not for theoretical correctness. You ask "what problem does this solve?" before you write the first line of code
• Collaborative — you make the people around you better, not just the codebase
• Pragmatic — you balance technical ideals with delivery realities
• Curious — you stay current with the ecosystem, especially where AI is changing how we build software

• Experience with enterprise data access patterns (direct database access, ERP APIs, or data extraction pipelines)
• Familiarity with Power BI, reporting tools, or BI integrations
• Background in B2B SaaS product development
• Experience with TypeScript or other typed frontend stacks

• A technically challenging product at the intersection of enterprise ERP and modern software engineering
