As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing high-quality WebGL games for web and mobile platforms using the Unity engine. Working closely with designers, artists, and developers, you'll bring creative visions to life by crafting engaging gameplay experiences. Your leadership will drive innovation and technical excellence within our rapidly growing team, ensuring the seamless development and operation of a diverse catalog of casino games.
What you'll do as a Lead Software Engineer, Unity
- Plan game projects with detailed task breakdowns, leading the release and operation of a diverse catalog of casino games.
- Manage an agile development team, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring timely delivery of reliable, scalable systems for a 24/7 iGaming market.
- Design and develop casino games and frameworks in Unity, optimizing performance for smooth gameplay across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to translate game concepts into functional features while identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Oversee releases, create monitoring systems, and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high-quality game performance.
- Write clean, maintainable code, develop prototypes for new mechanics, and stay updated on Unity's tools and best practices.
What you'll bring
- At least 7 years of Unity development experience, including expertise in physics, UI, scripting, and asset management.
- Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming, with a strong background in gameplay programming, animations, shaders, and physics.
- Experience with mobile and web game development standards, ensuring efficient and optimized performance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges effectively.
