This is a high-impact role designed to bridge the gap between operational activities and executive strategy. This role operates within a tiger team responsible for maturing or defining operational business models and complimentary technologies that can be deployed across the broader enterprise. In this position, you will ensure the readiness and delivery of the models and translate the triumphs into compelling narratives that win over stakeholders, while overseeing departmental demand to ensure management can effectively manage capacity.
In this role, you will:
- Architect and implement departmental demand management standards and processes using Jira Enterprise, defining how new requests are defined, captured, triaged, prioritized, and balanced against department capacity to improve transparency
- Oversee the lifecycle of AI use cases, ensuring alignment with required control gates and processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate vague business needs into crisp, technical requirements and actionable user stories, while prioritizing standards and conventions that enhance operational efficiency
- Develop and deliver high-stakes presentations to secure buy-in of our solutions with internal customers
- Work closely with technical leads to remove blockers, manage dependencies across the enterprise, and ensure the reusable nature of our solutions is maintained through disciplined documentation
- Create and enforce departmental demand management standards, methodologies, and roadmaps
- Present findings and recommendations to key business stakeholders
- Identify IT demand risks and opportunities, recommending appropriate optimization strategies
- Drive end-to-end delivery of team initiatives using a formal agile framework
- 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, technical project management, or delivery leadership within a large-scale corporate environment
- 5+ years presenting to stakeholders with a portfolio of work (or proven track record) showing an ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- 3+ years of experience with Jira, including setting up boards, managing complex workflows, and utilizing advanced reporting/road mapping features
- 3+ years working in technical environments (Cloud, API Management, Data Modeling, DevOps, etc) and interfacing with technical stakeholders
- Master's degree in IT or Business Administration
- Experience rolling out new operational processes across a resistant or siloed organization
- Relevant Agile certification such as SAFe, CSM, PSM, CSPO, or ICP
- Telecommuting is not an option for this position
