As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial Banking business, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible to solve exciting business problems in the domain of commercial banking, payments and financial services
Job responsibilities

  • Build Knowledge Graph solutions leveraging large-scale datasets to solve various business use cases for Commercial Banking.
  • Design and build graph database schemas to support Commercial Bank use cases including knowledge graphs related to Companies, Investors, Contacts, and Real Estate Properties
  • Design and build graph database load processes to efficiently populate the knowledge graphs
  • Leverage AWS to host and manage the knowledge graphs
  • Support ML activities against the knowledge graph to expose insights
  • Develop end-to-end CI/CD ML pipelines to deploy the knowledge graphs and associated processes
  • Build both batch and real-time update processes to keep the knowledge graphs in sync
  • Collaborate across the Commercial Bank Data Platform team to leverage existing data assets in the knowledge graph and to drive the creation of additional data assets


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of working experience with knowledge graphs/graph databases
  • Expertise with Graph database technology especially Neo4J
  • Expertise with Graph visualization tools
  • Expertise with AWS - provisioning services, running Neo4J on AWS, EC2s, Lambda, etc.
  • Expertise with Java, Python, and related software engineering platforms/frameworks
  • Experience in designing and building highly scalable Knowledge Graphs in production
  • Experience developing APIs leveraging knowledge graph data
  • Experience with querying knowledge graphs using a graph query language (e.g. Cypher)
  • Experience working with end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using frameworks like Jules, Spinnaker, etc.
  • Advanced Degree in field of Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent discipline.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Banking experience preferable
