Lead Software Engineer - Fullstack (ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript and Java) Developer

As a VP at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset and Wealth Management - Technology team, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team's work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain existing applications - with emphasis on the ReactJS, TypeScript and core Java code bases
- Design, Develop, Test, Deploy and Support new services or add new features into existing services using ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript and Java.
- Maintain deployment and testing jobs that integrate into firmwide SLDC tooling
- Stay on top of technology rules, firm requirements, trends and best practices to ensure that code is future-friendly.
- Maintain proper documentation and share knowledge with other team members
- Engage with project managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and product owners to ensure that deliverables are implemented in timely fashionon
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10 years applied experience.
- Strong engineering experience, focusing on ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript and core Java
- Understanding of web technologies (e.g. React, HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS, etc...)
- Designing complex and rich UI based on Figma design specs
- Strong design, coding, testing and debugging skills
- An ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to team members and clients, as well as ability to adapt to client cultures and work environments
- A desire to work with a variety of technologies, and passion for driving quality and improving the productivity of the software development lifecycle
- Experience with a variety of testing methodologies, including API Testing, Integration Testing, Behavior Driven Development, and Test Driven Development
- Knowledge and benefits of Services and API layer development and testing
- Experience in continuous integration tools such as Jenkins/Team City, git as version control
- Experience and interest in working with AI DS tools such as LLM or others
