As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Risk Technology space, you'll work in an agile team building production software across the full stack, with a frontend focus. You own code quality, contribute to technical direction, and work across React frontends and Java/Spring Boot services.
Job Responsibilities
- Write, review, and debug secure production code across frontend and backend services.
- Design and build cloud-native, microservices-based applications with zero-downtime releases.
- Apply domain modeling to structure software for clarity, testability, and long-term maintainability.
- Identify recurring failure patterns and eliminate or automate their remediation.
- Lead communities of practice to share new techniques and raise engineering standards across the org.
- Design for resilience: no single points of failure, scalable patterns, optimised data access.
