About the role
As a DiUS Lead Software Consultant, you will have the opportunity to make a difference and make an impact across multiple products and clients. We work on problems our clients aren’t able to solve themselves: anything from playing and experimenting with innovative tech to helping a client transform legacy systems.
This is a role for the natural navigator, the problem solver, the constantly curious and the lifelong learner. You'll partner with our clients to help them build bespoke products and solutions, get the most of their technology landscape, and leave them in a better place. This role is more than just systems and coding, it's about asking the right questions, having good practices and collaborating on the bigger picture. You'll help influence our clients on selecting the right technologies, shape requirements, design and architect solutions, set up good engineering and quality practices, lead small teams and get hands-on with development. You’ll also represent the DiUS brand internally and externally, positioning DiUS teammates as experts to the client.
About you
- Full-stack software engineer with experience in various tech languages such as: Typescript/JavaScript and either React, Angular, Vue,.net.
- Backend experience in at least one of the following: Nodejs, Python, Kotlin, Java, C#, Ruby
- Experience in data engineering and machine learning highly regarded
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms
- High level of proficiency in modern architecture practices
- Live and breathe Agile, understanding its purpose, value and common practices.
- Demonstrates autonomy and expertise in code practices such as TDD and CI/CD
- Confident to design and lead architectural discussions for client solutions and multiple application classes
- Previous experience in professional services, adapting quickly to different client needs and paces
- Experience leading and shaping product delivery, including client presentations and workshop facilitation
- Able to add value to pre-sales activity/tasks
- Excellent presentation & communication skills
- Able to lead others and coordinate / prioritise tasks and workload
- Manage and resolve conflicts with relevant stakeholders and demonstrate excellent team management
- Primary point of influence with stakeholders, project teams, and clients
- Provide internal support to sales, marketing and other internal initiatives/teams
- Passionate about spreading change through thought leadership, mentoring, meetups, writing blogs or staying active on GitHub.
