Easytrieve programming language product team in Broadcom Mainframe Software Division is looking for an expert C engineer to join and lead exciting effort that involves work on the Easytrieve runtime and compiler across multiple platforms.
Expected skills
- Advanced knowledge of C
- Experience working with modern software development practices involving Git/GitHub
- Deep knowledge of Windows / Linux / Unix operating systems
- Familiarity with internals / implementation of one or more compilers, memory management systems, and programming language runtime implementations, preferably implemented in C
- Knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures
- Having wide-ranging experience, mastery of professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
- Strong project management skills
- Expert knowledge of design and delivery of new products/process
- Functional breadth and depth, plus expertise in complementary fields
- Ability to apply broad concepts and theories to achieve innovative and effective solutions to complex problems

- Bachelors + 12+ years of related experience.

- At this level, post-graduate degree typically expected.
