Overview
The Global Customer Care IVR team is looking for a Lead Software Developer Engineer - AWS to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses a solving problems mindset.
Role
In this software engineering position, you will:
• Work in a close interaction with other engineers to design, develop and deploy software solutions for the platform.
• Identify and correct any issues with the applications and deliver prompt fixes and opportunities to increment performance.
• Take responsibility for the work at hand and provide consistent results above and beyond the expectations.
All About You
What we require:
• Professional software development experience.
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with AWS platform.
• Communication skills for both a technical and business audience.
• Experience leveraging object oriented design practices in Java, C++ and or .Net.
• Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python
• Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
